14. Salt Marshes from New Brunswick

These salt marshes are behind my mom's house. It was done for Stepn on the postcard exchange.

13. NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWL

This owl will elongate its body to look like a

tree branch to hide itself from predators.

Adults are only 18cmlong and often

nest in old woodpecker cavities. They

hunt small rodents and insects.

Done on dark green pastel paper with

Prismacolors and Derwent colorsoft pencils

This one is for Nithya in India.

12.Tibouchina for Nancy

Tibouchina for Nancy. This exotic flower blooms in my garden during the summer months.

11. COOLING OFF

This one is for Kordelia.
Done in Derwent inktense, and Derwent colorsoft.
Taken last summer at Stanley Park here in Vancouver B.C.
I likes this shot against the mountains.

10.Musician

This musican is a harpist seen at Granville Island here in Vancouver, B.C.

It was a challenging piece, and I am quite happy with it considering that I don't do portraits this often.

One of my aim this year is to try more.

It is for Marita in the United Kingdom. She did a series on musician, and I though of her when I chose this one.
